An overall think to consider for you to improve: In order to make stunning gfx you must learn 1: Modeling 2: Texturing 3: Rendering +lighting So keep this in mind, while you work. It is best to focus on modeling to begin with then add when you are ready for it. oh wow. i just got the C4D program. i am overwhelmed and inspired by its potentials at the same time. you got any advice for me that can make me at least half as good as you in record time. your work really has....class
Hehe, yeah it is an awesome tool. The short answer is no.
Skills come with practice, so by bypassing practice you wont acquire the skills. On the other hand, I can point you towards www.c4dcafe.com, which is an awesome site for new, intermediate and trained users. There is a large selection of tutorials and a very active forum. If you combine these two, and add a squish of patience and many, many hours of work.. you will reach your goal. It does not come over night. The reason for my way of saying this, is that I have received many messages similar to yours, and after 2weeks where the beginner does not make Star Wars cg or so, they simply quit. So the best advice I can give is: Dont set your goals too high, but slowly add to them. I am currently teaching in 3D (in Namibia), and my students have all after few lectures been able to do very nice things.. So it is possible, for sure Good luck, and please keep me posted.. I will always help, if I can - Krodil thank you very much, i know practice is required! i am ready! will head over to c4dcafe now.
God bless you and make you bigger. |
