Hi!

Another picture from me.

I needed another wallpaper, and wanted to try that AO out.

210000 hairs, a landscape and an abstract something :)

Render time 1h<

Size 1280x1024

CC is as always welcome, but please make a comment if u use it ;)

Will probably upload a set, where the grass color is different. (like Crimson,Purple, white etc)

What did you use for this? Whenever the hell I try to make ANYTHING in Studio 3D max or Cinema 4D it always gets FUBAR or the lighting never works -_-

Ahh sorry I missed that part, im guessing "w. AO" means "With Add Ons" ? anyways yeah with the "I cant do 3D because of lighting etc" thing lol

hehe.. No, it actually means Ambient Occlusion.. Just a way of shadowing (rough said).
Lighting is one of the most important things in 3d, if not THE most important. But; calculating on u r using C4D, its easy to make a good piece with little lighting..
Start of easily, and e.g make a ball/sphere. a floor and choose the first light in the light objects.
Add some materials to the objects. Remember to position ur light, where u want it. Press once on the light object, and select shadow> soft. That should give you a starter, If you are beyond this point let med know....

Hope it helps a bit..
